It was in 2009 when I was sat on a sun drenched beach in Cyprus, in my shorts, vest and a leather bound necklace. I was horrified as to how much litter was surrounding me on the beach and along the foreshore. It was at this point I had a light bulb moment.  I thought long and hard about what I could do, how could I make a difference, until finally 2 years ago I decided it was time to take that important first step and plan and do. From this the idea was conceived and I decided to start planning don’t break 345, which since then has seen individual’s including celebrities, people like you and me and now my son Sam, join the cause. Our mission is to make a difference, help turn off the plastic tap, save the coexistence of marine-life via taking positive action to stem the flow of plastic entering the ocean, supporting education and behavioural change activity regards the same, all this to help maintain the food chain.

Turning off the worlds’ plastic tap is a monumental task, it is a global responsibility.  Let us all take positive action before it is too late.

“It is not just one person’s duty to obstruct the flow of the worlds’ plastic tap, it is a ‘global responsibility”
